This is an online version of the card game available (also on this site), Production Beating . It builds on the Open-Education Resource The Drama Machine.
Participants choose roles to play in simulated production meetings. They are each given a random set of personality traits to adhere to as they try to collaborate. Each participant is given a code to look up. This code reveals the personality traits they are required to adhere to – without revealing the description -throughout the meeting.
The machine generates randome production circumstances including a story, style, background research criteria, budget, and calendar time. Each team must work within their personality traits and arrive a solutions for the show.
