War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast

This is the set design. The lighting design is available here.

Hanaway will become a broadcasting radio station studio with a live audience. The broadcast booth is SR. SL includes a small stage with an announcer desk and two countertops where will we establish foley sound effect equipment.
SR and SL are two small stages hidden behind black voile panels. By backlighting portions of the cyclorama, we can light up one side or the other at a given moment independently. We will use a mix of cutouts, gobos, and projected content to etablish settings.
