We mashed together backstage and onstage elements for a Victorian theatre. These were used by the creative team and talent elastically from scene to scene. The black and white cemetery seen in the background was the preliminary projected scenery. We l simulatef painted drops flying in and out, with shadows and realistic motion, throughout the production. The painted curtains midstage were a 2D painted facade. These are the width of the apron. They createf a simple proscenium arch. We added footlights across the apron. There was a trap centerstage from which Drood emerged in the final scene.
